ID needed

The leaves on this plant are little tiny needles and the plant is yellowish with the stems standing out. It grows like a weed in my tank. It doubled on me in a matter of weeks.

I know what it is. And had this been posted in the correct area of the forum I would have answered. There is a section of this forum for plant related questions.

"Please remember! This section of the forum is for the discussion of specific plants and their culture! Requests for plant identifications belong in the General Section of the forum! I have been relocating way too many plant ID posts!

Once you have your ID, you may then post your questions about said plant in this section of the forum!

Mike"

Isn't this - General Planted Tank Discussion - where the plant ID questions go?

I was suspecting it was just mayaca but then the tips and the spacing didn't seem right.

yeah this is the general section. I am pretty sure it was just a mistake.

This is the picture of mayaca i got from another site which is what led me to confusion about what it was.

http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_mayaca.php

I was also wondering if anyone that has this has any problem with pictures of it looks blurred together.

I recently switched out of my actinic bulbs and the last picture i took didn't have the problem so i was wondering if different light spectrums photograph differently.

That picture on Age of Aquariums doesn't look like any Mayaca I have ever seen.

Agree with Robert. That picture looks like a deficient rotala of some sort.
