i've grown accustomed to their face.........

i have a tank which has been settling in for a few weeks now, there is a crypt (i think c. undulata maybe) and java moss in it which has completely overgrown all the wood in there, as there is alot of java and a little bit of algae but no predators there is a large population of tiny little invertebrates swimming around in there, mostly cyclops. i intend to put some red cherry shrimp in and thus will also add a filter which it lacks at the moment. what i want to find out is if the filter will suck in and kill all my cyclops and other beasties, not a major disaster but i quite like them.

You could cut up and old net and tie the netting around your filter intake. Ladies pantyhose works well too, but gets clogged faster.

Somebody set us up the tank!
