altum angel info please

I'm in the process of setting up what used to be my reef tank into a planted tank. Right now I'm doing research on what fish I want and the altum has definately caught my eye.

1. Are these guys ok with algae eating shrimp? As far as eating them i mean?
2. Will I need to treat one profilacticaly with any medications before introducing it to the tank to prevent wild disease?
3. If so, what meds do I need to use?

They will eat algae eating shirmp. You would be giving them an expensive meal if you do

Keeping altums can be a challenge in itself, particularly wild-caught ones.
