can i grow...

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering, if i can grow glosso and keep it low does that mean i can grow riccia on a piece of wood? The tank is a 20g long 2.5wpg screw in power compact. And its 12in tall but with the substrate its only 10in of water. What do you guys think?

Glossio is one of the specie that Amano uses a lot of his aquascaping. It by nature will form runners one on top of each other. Thus at the end, you will have carpeting looking greenery. If I am correct, I do believe Glossio tends to like higher lighting and CO2 plus your Macro and Micro. Riccia also like lighting to be on a high side. I guess you are trying to form Glossio( Glossio especially like Potassium) as your base and on top of have Riccia. It should be nice looking when you get done with it. May be a piece of nice rock at your focal point. Regards, JC.
