Driftwood/rock problems

There are a few problems i am having that i am wondering are associated with my suckermouth fish.

I been trying to attach moss to my rock/driftwood and i always see my fish running through it disturbing it and the moss i do attach eventually comes off.

I was wondering if my fish were uprooting it from the wood/rock?

Also i can see my wood which is really dense losing it's layers and i am wondering if my pleco is sucking it off as food since it grazes on it almost 24/7.

Well, its a good chance that the pleco is messing it up, espically on the wood. Some plecos eat wood, for bristleknose wood is a regular part of their diet. It could just be digging under it to get to the wood, although I have never ran into that problem

I think the problem is that it is the only thing in the tank for them to eat i think. I don't have too much algae going on in there heh.
