Is this for real?

This is saying that you don't need pressureized co2, this takes its place... Do you think it would really work?

Carbo-Plus

No bubble counter, pressure tank, gas refills, valves, or gauges needed!
Carbo-Plus is a new and revolutionary method of producing carbon dioxide for aquarium use in growing aquatic plants. Simply stand the unit with the carbon bar upright in your aquarium while its handy control dial remains outside where you can select the perfect level for your freshwater aquarium. A very fine "smoke" of carbon dioxide will appear immediately. This system is so safe and convenient; we know you'll love it! No carbon dioxide gas, or special tubing necessary!

Carbon dioxide (CO2) systems replenish CO2 levels in your freshwater planted aquarium faster than plants can deplete them, helping to ensure that plants receive enough CO2 to grow. Plants take carbon for photosynthesis from one of two sources - CO2 or carbonate hardness (KH). Plants rapidly use readily available CO2. As CO2 levels decrease, plants grow slowly and begin taking carbon from KH. Since KH also stabilizes pH, the pH level can change dramatically when KH levels decrease, severely stressing and even killing fish.

Please Note: This is a store return. The item is new and unused and in its original box. The box has some damage and the instructions are missing.

I have one and on my 110 gallon tank with it cranked right up, it STILL doesn't give enough off. Smaller tank should be ok tho.
