What's the biggest pleco you have in your tank?

OK, some of you may have read my ranting about dealing with a certain aquarium manufacture and know that I'm in the market for a nice new display tank for our living room.

I've decided to go with acrylic (most likely Tenecor) because doing a bit of research has dispelled my fear of scratches. If we get the new custom acrylic tank, the 29gal has to go and the debate now turns to what will be done with our 13" common pleco. Since this is going to be my mother's tank, like adding a piece of furniture to the living room, she's calling most of the shots and wants the pleco in there b/c it's "her" fish. I'm worried it's rasping mouth will fog up the inside of the acrylic. I -could- move it into my 85gal, but it will probably wreck all of my plants and put off any hopes of aquascaping for a couple years. There is a possible compromise here - we get the new acrylic tank, I put the big plec in my 85gal, and I'm allowed to move the plants from my 85gal into the new tank.

So here's what I want to know: What's the biggest pleco you have and in what size tank? What kind of plant life do you have in that tank? Does the pleco make a mess of things?

T.I.A.

I have a 16 inch poop maker. He started out in a 20 and up until recently he was in a 75. Now he is in the 120. He doesnt touch my plants though, I would beat him silly if he did.

I have a 5inch pleco in a 120 gallon with lots of plants. He does not do anything to the plants. My problem is the moonlight gourami. The tank is glass.
