Fish and plants complament each other quite well as far as water quality, but asthetically what are your favorite combos?

I like the cardinal tetra and the celebes rainbowfish with aponogeton, crypts and rotalla walichi

I too like rainbows with lots of tall thin plants, plus a nice green carpet below.

A shoal of Rasboras with lots of assorted Hygro and Crypts is also a personal favorite.

I think my red tailed shark looks beautiful no matter what plant he is swimming by.

But my all time favorite has to be when he is swimming in the hygrophila. He weaves in and out of it and looks so graceful!

Rasboras Against Nomaphelia Siamesis (Giant Hygro), definitely!

Or my school of Clown Loaches swimming through a large field of Sagittaria, picking their way through the base.

Mine would have to be, my kuhli loaches, sleeping in the leaves of my water sprite, curling in and out , and plopping on top, after a quick swim around the tank. Not to mention, when there hanging upside down from a leaf. If you want actual move ment, fancy tailed male guppys, and jungle vals.

Also a south american hiding under a sword plant preparing to pounce on its prey is a site to see. They appear to just be a dead leaf floating there and then all of a sudden-------------!
