Q about placing plants in the aquarium

With Witeria for instance how many stems should you plant together. I get mine from the LFS in a bunch of 8-9 stems, should I place all of those together or in 2s or 3s? Does the same go for all stem plants?

Sorry if this seems like a extreme noob question but I want to make sure Im doing this right.

it all depends on what you want it to look like. It doesn't really matter. If you plant in pairs of two, the plants will grow to cover a much bigger area. If you plant them all together then it will just grow in one spot, and wont take up as much room. There is no real way that you are supposed to plant them, just do whatever looks good for you.
