fish for 40b

im thinking of setting up a 40b was wanting 2 discus and 2 angelfish and a small school of tetras would that work or would i need a bigger tank lke a 75

I wouldnt

Even though a 40B has a slightly bigger footprint than a 55G and has an actual capacity of around 48Gallons, I still wouldnt mix Discus with angels (especially wild angles). Even though discus and angels are both cichlids, Angels are more agressive eaters and may have parasites that the discus aren't immune to.

Also if those 2 angels become a breeding pair, those Discus (especially if purchased as Juviniles) have to go.

Maybe if you have the 40B BB with 2 large discus you can place 1 baby angel with them with a school of rummynose and see what happens.
