1 plant

I have never tried a planted tank before but or willing to try some thing new. My aqua. exp. has been mainly with Oscars.You know, glueing down fake plants till he brakes them to peaces But, i have this 55 gal tank im sting up as a community tank. I have a bunch of barbs and a rubber pleco. I was just looking into getting one large plant to try first with out spinding a lot into it. Is there any plants i could try? and what would i need to grow it.My tank imfo is

cascade 1000 canister
titan. heater
what is
amm 0
trite 0
trate <10
ph 7.8
hrph 8.0
Any help and info would be great. or sould i just stick with plastic

not sure. It just came with it. I have a 2 bulb 48" light on my 75 i can cange out with it. The ones on my 55 came with it. to 24" lights with one bulb in each. I would say like the ones that come with the set-ups from wal-mart

you can always try Java Fern (one of my favorites) and anubias nana. I dont have much experience with nana though. =)

You have either 30 watts or 40 watts on your 55 gallon tank.
