So I took you're advise update pics

Last time I posted pics of this tank mostly everyone suggested removing some of the plants. I agreed, And I finally motivated myself to do just that. Almost done now. Just a few things to move and I should receive the S.repens I ordered in the next day or two to fill in the foreground. Let me know how I did.

Here is the before picture

And here is the after as of 9/12. sorry for the weird angle it was the only one without glare

Im a fan of the updated version. stems seem more compact and planted close together, which makes it look more organized.

It's Staurogyne repens aka "tropica 49" the whole foreground is actually but the left and right side were just planted a few days ago. The center has been there from the start and is "trained" the way I hope the rest will look soon

Thanks very much I'm happy with it and I think it's going to look even better in a month or so when the new S.repens on the left and right foreground is established and gets a trim. This is really the only full tank I have running right now.I tore down the others to make room for my second daughter who is do in a few weeks. I'm going to start a new small probably 5gal soon. I do still have a couple neglected wabis that I will update when I get around to making them look nice again. I'm going to get a less blurry pic of this one later tonight
