cleaning tank for freshwater

I have a 210g tank with a 100g sump if completely full, I need to clean it to prepare my first planted tank ever!
I was thinking fill with tap water and pour 20-30 gallons of distilled vinager into tank and let run for awhile. Not sure if this is the best method. Any ideas will be great. once i have this tank and sump cleaned ill start my journal
All replies are much appreciated, Thanks

I'd get some plastic scrubbies and vinegar and scrub the tank down, rinse it out, fill and start up your tank. No need to throw 30 gallons of vinegar in there and run the tank. You should be able to give it heck of a cleaning with one gallon. Use distilled vinegar.

I also used vinegar to clean my tank after I bought it. Then I let it sit in the bathtub with the shower blasting at it for a few hours, and let it sit with water overnight.
