Next custom tank

So I have already started little plans in my head for my next custom tank as my first attempt at a home made nano turned out... Well without sounding egotistical, it turned out great!

This next tank will be at home and will need to be at least 10+ gallons and will utilize crystal/starphire glass.

My question for you guys, what dimensions should I shoot for? it will primarily house shrimp, apparently the wife enjoys shrimp over the 125 gallon tank with discus...

Since it's for your wife. Is there a spot in the house that is a particular favorite place for her? Maybe build the tank to fit that space allowing the space to dictate the tank size.

It may go into the corner next to my 125 gallon

She is tired of the 10 gallon taking up counter space...

I used to have a 24x24x12 tank. Was a very cool size to work with, but at the time I'd wished I'd had more height. Even like, 2 inches would have been nice. Now I have a 21x22x13 and think it's pretty much perfect. The shrimp seem to like it too. Hah.

Amazingly, yeah. It doesn't sound like much, but visually it made a massive difference. I don't know that I'd go over 14" though.
