cycling ew tank

ok heres the deal.... been in a fishless cycle for about a month now and just want some opinions!

nitrite has peeked and fallen to zero but amonia is still present between .25 and .50 dosing a 1/4 tsp daily.

api test shows 0ppm in tap water
tested nitrates and was at 100ppm so i did a 50% water change last night

question is am i cycled or not?

tank is pressurized co2 and planted from the start.

If you still have ammonia you are not cycled.

the ammonia and nitrite should all reflect 0ppm after 24 hours.. so after 24 hours of adding ammonia to your tank.. you should have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and some nitrate (depending on how much ammonia you added).

Bacteria should be able to deal with 3 ppm ammonia within 24 hours, and both ammonia and nitrite will show zero at 24 hours after adding the ammonia.

is 1/4 tsp giving you 3 ppm ammonia?
