Return on my filter

So decided to go all out, because? why thats because! I have a bunch of flat Slate pieces and am going to use it to convert my filter return into a cascade water fall kind of thing.... I hope...

My question is what would be a good moss to line the channel with as it will get constant water flow!

Have you seen this thread?

HoB filter stuff

It shows some cascade plants, and a picture of someone tying plastic canvas over the flow area so he can attach moss. I figure your going for more this then the bba, unless you wanna do the bba, then by all means disregard my reply.

no joke.. dead serious

LOL!!!

any moss will work. it will have constant flow but much like a prefilter will get cloged with debris. i'd reccomend giving it a swish once or twice a week to keep it clean. the scrimps might have a hard time picking it while its in the outflow unless the flow is diffusedvery well
