Question Filters filter out zooplankton?

I put zooplankton in a cap full a month for my Bamboo shrimp. Will the carbon in the filter take it out?

So a guy walks into a Pet Store

Guy: "I have Algae on my drift wood!"

Pet Clerk: "Take two Plecos and call me next week."

Activated Carbon has the greatest affinity for organic molecules like dyes and medicines.
It can adsorb quite a few simpler molecules, too.

I do not think it will remove zooplankton, though.

Is feeding Bamboo shrimp once a month enough?
