27G Cube With double bright LED

I was thinking of getting another tank and saw the 27 gallon cube, Marineland double bright LED, and stand on sale at LFS.
Does anyone have this setup? Can I grow low-med light plants with that setup? I would like to do a dirt tank with it. I was thinking about having a 200-300$CDN budget for the tank, stand and lights. Any suggestions or other tank reccomendations within that budget would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There are a few of us with this tank. I like mine but i found that the light gives poor coverage, only about half the tank is properly lit, imo.
I found that the light can grow low light plants but nothing more demanding, a second light would help or a dome light like the one in my signature.

I have this set up also ... Great tank but I agree with others that the light is not sufficient it is low level led - not enough wattage for plants - one word of caution is that the tank is only 20" wide and most t5 fixtures are 24" so if you are going to purchase a t5 fixture for plant growing know that it will overhang a bit - I thought I would hate this - by it is actually not bad at all - overall it is a nice tank for plants - nice and deep - but if you are going to grow plants you will need to get a light fixture - from somewhere else than marineland - they only make LEDs
