How much planaria? If it's a serious infestation then meds might be the way to go but if not, there may be less potentially harmful ways of getting rid of it. Water changes is one: siphon out the planaria as you change water. It might take a few large water changes but it should help. Cut down on feeding: planaria tend to show up when there's an excess of food in the tank.

You can purchase gencham no planaria which has no effect on fish or shrimp and I believe green leaf aquariums sell their own too.

You can go to a pet store and look for a dog dewormer. I used one they sell at petsmart.
