Blue rams displaying in sunlight

Figured I'd share pictures I took when the sun shone into my aquarium from my window. Not sure if I need a 56k warning, there's a LOT of pictures.

I got lucky and the blue rams were displaying in the sunlight. If only there were bulbs that could mimic this. The tank is a low tech 75, dirt capped with sand. Hopefully will get higher tech later, with CO2 and that stuff.

Believe it or not, all of this is manually focused. The autofocus is broken.

Cryptocoryne I need identified. Nurii or wendtii?

These fish are paired, and have layed several times, but no babies yet. They haven't tried to raise any for about 2 months, I don't know what their deal is.

Very nice pics - I love rams! I also love how sunlight lights up my tank - nothing like it.

Nice! They don't get enough credit for being as goods looking as they are.

Sunlight is definitely the best light there is!

Nice pics!
They probably would eat RCS just based on their personalities. Thanks for the compliment!

Those are some great looking Rams! I've been getting my 55 prepped for some rams, I am really looking forward to their arrival in the next few weeks!

Thanks! They are really great fish, you are going to like them. Mine actually just started laying eggs in a pair for the first time, hopefully they will successfully raise some someday.
