Fertilizers... one over another?
In terms of fertilizers, is there one element that is better to dose than another? I'm on a limited budget so I can't rush out and get the full regiment. Here's what I'm working with:
ODNO lighting - two 24" 20W T12's in series (one is the GE Plant & Aquarium and the other is a 6700k bulb) at 4x ~2.5WPG
Ammonia is 0 ppm
Nitrite is 0 ppm
Nitrate is 10-30 ppm (fluctuates, of course, but is usually closer to 15 ppm)
Phosphate is about 0.5 - 1.0 ppm
pH is 6.9
kH is 7
CO2 is ~26 ppm
gH is about 6
I'm currently only growing Anacharis (until my other plants arrive). They're growing fine under a short photoperiod. Longer photoperiods show signs of malnutrition. It's hard to say what I need, but that's why I am here.
