What kind of plant is this ?

Please let me know what this plant is, its driving me nuts. My friend says he sees it on the shores of lakes and in aquariums. Its not very soft like java moss. My baby fish love to hide and play in it. And as in the picture, my snails love to eat it. Which is odd because I have an all planted tank and they do not eat the other plants Q! PLEEEASE let me know, thanks.

Fixed the link for JaVaGiRl. I can't tell what it is though, the picture is too small for me to tell. Actually looks like java moss.

If she's talking about what's on the driftwood, I'd guess java moss or willow moss. The strand in the back looks like anacharis. It's really hard to tell with that size picture.
