Plastic trim cracked - important?

Hi All,

The plastic trim on the bottom of my tank cracked at a corner when I was trying to remove it. I have a 29g rectangular, so I presume it's not structural, as it'd be in a bowfront or the like? I filled it with 2" or so of water and left it for several days with no apparent ill effects.

Therefore - safe to conclude it's not structural and some epoxy will do wonders?

fill it all the way, hydrostatic pressure is what's going to make it leak.
