Help wanted on dry start design

I'm at the one month mark on my first real planted tank and it's a dry start too. Any ideas on other plants to add, I've maxed out my creativity. I'm sure it's going to look cool after adding some fish but does anyone else have any ideas on what else to add to give it depth and character?Click image for larger version

Attaching some narrow leaf java fern to the base of the driftwood and letting it grow out as a solid base would look great. Or if you have high enough lighting, some rotala indica bunches in the back left corner behind the driftwood.. and when it grows out, trim it into a hill shape that slopes down to the right corner.
Or you can do the rare plant, giant dwarf hairgrass, and fill the back left with that.
Adding some scaping rocks of various sizes around the base of the driftwood would look great too.
Off the top of my head!

And some inspiration for you:
