Nesaea love it or hate it?

Grows slowly by my experience, needs high light, but is a gorgeous red color and I love the small leaves. Any thoughts on this plant?

Haven't tried it before...is it a fussy plant? Requirements?

Love it. My favorites out of all the red plants once you get it rooting.

Do you have any tips for this plant. Mine was beautiful when I got it a few months back, but it's not so lovely now.

Not much as far as tips. I did noticed that it thrives in high CO2 and the reds really comes out when the tank is low in nutrients (stalks get blood red).

Are you growing it with EI dosing?

I believe Robert has the plant for sale. Might be time to place an order, Eric!

Does look like it, Mike.

Gotta go through the tank this weekend and clear out some space before I order some.

I love it when I receive it from the nursery but have never been able to keep it looking so good in the long run. The only Nesaea species I've kept is Nesaea sp. "Red" and it always arrives with a beautiful red coloration brighter than any other red plant I've seen, but in my tanks it fades and new growth is weak. I do have quite hard water in my tanks which probably has a lot to do with it. I'm still keeping some of it to see if I can get it to come around, but so far no luck.

The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila.
