need advice about achieving proper flow (circulation)

In my 36Bow I'm currently running 2 HOB Aquaclear 50's. I have decent surface movement but my plants at the back take a beating and I'm not sure that I really have much true circulation throughout the tank.

I'm planning to upgrade to a canister and want to set it up so that I have proper circulation. I was imagining that I would make a 30" spray bar mounted at the back and aimed either slightly up towards the surface or maybe slightly down towards the front glass. Either way I was thinking this would give me a clockwise circulation (if looking at the left side of the tank).

I was also imagining running an inline GLA CO2 atomizer, but I can run it external if having it inline complicates things.

Your plan sounds right to me, your output should hit your front glass then go down its face across the substrate and back up the back wall. I think an inline atomizer is the way to go, that or a reactor. I dont see why it would complicate anything.
