My surface agitation super slow motion video

Thought it would be cool in super slow motion lol, but it shows that the surface is not being broken by the flow it is perfectly positioned to create a smooth ripple.

Wayy cool
Id drop the output about half of an inch to 1 inch down. Its about as close as u can get to not breaking the surface.. i can see the water folding a lot.

Otherwise thats really good. Just maybe a little too much lol

The problem I have is if I lower it much more then the syphon breaker will be too low in the water and more than likely flood my sump if I have a power cut lol As it is now is perfect that in a power cut the syphon will break before the sump over flows.

I will have a play about and see what I can do, once I have a new sump that will be taller than this one it will allow me to drop it more as the sump will take more water in the case of a power cut.

Might be more than needed but O2 is good. I can adjust the amount of water pointing to the surface coming from the spray bar. I recently changed it from a 1/4" standing wave to zero and the fish didn't seem fussed by it so I don't think the extra water movement was adding much to the O2 level. I think the ripple is pretty though.

What about lowering the output opening a couple inches but drilling an antisiphon hole in the tube at the right level?

Or putting a 45* elbow on instead of a 90* elbow so more water goes down than parallel with the water surface?

Or making a little spray bar with several larger than usual holes to diffuse the flow a bit?

Or putting a T on the output with a couple of outlets?

PVC is fun, lots of tinkering possible!

Looks good but that's definitely not full HD like you claim it to be.

I think I will drill another breaker but was also tinkering with the idea of a spray bar. Hmm....... lol Think I will give it a few days and see what I decide.
