What is the "Off" position on the needle valve for a paintball CO2 system??

I just got a JaggedFury type paintball CO2 system, but I read the instructions for turning it on, and it said to make sure needle valve is closed. What is the closed position for the needle valve?? It's the same needle valve as in the pictures on the JaggedFury thread (If you haven't seen the thread, here it is:
https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=115850 ). Is it off when the handle is parallel to the rest of the needle valve, or is it off when the handle and the rest of the needle valve form a "T" shape, or what??

Will appreciate a quick answer!

No matter how hard you try, you cannot escape this hobby. You have been warned.

Turn it as much clockwise as you can and it will be in the off position. To let a little out at a time, turn it counter-clockwise

Edit: lefty-loosy righty-tighty

i noticed on my paintball co2 the needle valve is kind of a pain, i purcased the A40 version valve from home depot, 6$ but its super picky when releasing gas, it will be at 5bps for only about 20 min then slows down, will i always have to manually be playing with it or will it finally balance out?

Yes, it will always be difficult to adjust without a regulator. You trying to adjust 800 PSI with your needle valve
