Biocube 29 in process. Ideas?

I am setting up my Oceanic Biocube 29 again. It was setup as a reef aquarium for about a year. I have exchanged the actinic PC lamp to a 6,700k, and kept the 10k. 36 watts each. It is now filled with 30 lbs of Fluorite, and mixed 10 lbs black sand by Caribsea. I plan on doing a small hardscape with stone, live plants, and pressurized co2 . Anyone have any suggestions for live plants with this aquarium? Is the lighting sufficient for carpeting plants (baby tears)? etc....Any advice or experience with this aquarium as a freshwater, planted aquarium, would be great.

I am starting a 29 biocube as well and have only one suggestion. plan carefully on background plants as our tanks will quickly top out if you get tall ones.

I'm researching on foreground plants and driftwood at the moment. The stock lights were trashed by the previous tank owner and have been replaced with an aftermarket LED fixture. Lumens and specs are undisclosed so ill have to test this out in the coming days. I encourage you to start a journal and perhaps we can share our notes and progress together.

All the best!
