has anyone had any bug issues with DSM??

i just noticed my 10gal im waiting to flood has little tiny flies, almost like fruit flies all over my tank, and also some how i have a snail problem, anyone else have these issues??

sealed only open for about 10 minutes every other day when i mist and air it out for a bit then saran it back up

Bug either got in while you were misting or you sealed them in somehow from the very beginning. Now they are reproducing...

Either way, I'm sorry I don't have anyfurther advice or solutions for you. I have never had this problem.

Is this a dirt tank? Probably fungus gnats. Annoying but harmless. They'll die off when you flood it.

Expect a few flies and spiders, it's normal and shouldn't cause for any alarm.

using sand, flourite, and eco complete, have a little gravel on the bottom used for my hill, im assuming i trapped a lil guy in there.... the snail must have been brought over from some plants i took from another tank.... what jerks

i figured once its flooded it would be fine
