ICH Question

Seems I have an outbreak of ICH in my main tank. Black Neon Tetras seem to have it. These fish were in my Q tank for 3 weeks. Looked great no problems, then I moved them to my primary tank. 3 days later they have ICH. I increased the temp in the tank to 85 and started treatment with Kordon Ich-Attack, which has worked great in the past.

The question, I am thinking of moving all the fish back to my Q tank, and treat the fish in that tank and I was going to move some stuff around this weekend in my main tank. So should I keep up the treatment of the Kordon Ich-Attack in the main tank, even though the fish will be removed and should I keep the temp up? I also turned on my UV.

In my opinion, I don't think it will make much of a difference. I think you would still need to keep the heat up in the main tank and continue with the Ich-Attack until you see no signs of ich for at least 3 days. I just went through an ich issue and treated with heat only. Took 10 days to see no further signs, and I kept the heat up for over 2 weeks total.
