Snail explosion

I bought two Zebra Snails a few months back and now my Fluval Edge 6 gallon and 10 gallon are infested with baby snails they are everywhere. I'm not a 100% sure if they are Zebra snail babies or just a generic snail that hitch a long on a plant??? Anyone know about zebra snails?

So a guy walks into a Pet Store

Guy: "I have Algae on my drift wood!"

Pet Clerk: "Take two Plecos and call me next week."

those are the only snails besides assassin snails but I got them after the snail expolison to try to help. Assassin snails failed and have been over run I saw a few small shells in there haha

Not good advice for a 6g & a 10g tank.

Bubba, if you're able to breed zebra nerites and Amano shrimp don't complain- sell them on SNS and make some $$$!

Turn down the heat. No issue with snail pop. for me between 72-75. Don't overfeed.

Are there any drawbacks to keeping these? Compatibility, etc

Amano shrimp have a lot more eggs then a Ghost shrimp. Both my females are berried and they are huge about twice the size of the males.

The tank is literally crawling with baby snails everywhere in big clusters to. Not sure if they are Zebra's or not I looked up a picture of a baby zebra online and they look the same. I don't know though, there were no baby snails in my 10 gallon and there were 25 Assassin snails in there. I put about 10 baby snails from the Fluval in and most of them got eaten. Slowly the Assassin snails died darn things and about 10 of them survived. I Put the 2 adult Zebra snails in the 10 gallon because the Fluval had to many babies. That was a month ago and now the 10 gallon with the 2 adult zebras has the same problem. This leads me to think these are Zebra snails after all. Sounds like Matlock geez.
