Cryps have me confused

Trying to get the proper look for new tank but have run into a snag. I like the hammered leaf look and having trouble finding becketii so looking at wendttii mi oya. Some have the hammered pattern on leaf and some do not. What goes here? Is this picture of mi oya id correct?
Thanks,
Gary

Crypt leaves vary widely depending on water condition. I've never kept Mi Oya, but the plant you posted DOES look like a wendtii variety to me, so it's quite plausible. Just because it has the beautiful hammered look in one persons tank, however, doesn't mean it will for you too unfortunately.

+1 All of my standard green and red wedntiis have somewhat hammered leaves.

For what its worth:

pH: 6.8
temp: 80*F
Ammo/Nitrite: 0
nitrate: <10
hardness is like 0-1, I only use RO

I'm no crypt expert but that looks exactly like my brown Wendtii.

Robert

My Wendetti bronze has that exact leaf texture, unfortunately it's a really bad grower for me......

My wendtii bronze makes for pretty smooth leaves, but grows quickly. I keep it under low light, with soil substrate.
