CO2 too much??

My co2 comes on at 9 am and the lights come on at 11 am. By 12:30 to 1:0 pm., my drop checker is yellow and stays that way until 6:30 pm when it turns off. My fish seem to be ok. Some of my guppies and platys stay at the top towards the end of the day, but the rest of the fish act ok.

My question is, should I turn down my co2 so it takes longer to turn the drop checker yellow or just leave things as they are?

ur looking for stability, so it sounds to me like yes is just constantly building throughout the day and not staying at a constant level. yellow doesn't mean dead fish. however if fish respond negatively. then you will want to do one of two things. turn c02 down just a tad. or add oxygen by means of extra flow, and/or more surface agitation.
