Ich, Otos and shrimps..errr....?

Fish: 12 Green Neon Tetras, 7 Lemon Tetras, 4 Otos, Cherry shrimps, Assasin snails
A lot of different plants!

Hi, any feedback would be welcome as a total rookie to aquaria.
I have a Rio 180 litre Planted tropical f/w tank. I've only recently (last 2 months) introduced fish after a fishless cycle. I've got mild signs of White Spot on 3 of my Green Neon. 1 of my Lemon tetras has also been flashing. I wanted to use temperature and salt but temp (anything above 83 deg f) seems to be upsetting my Otos and possibly my Green Neons and I've heard salt is bad for Otos and plants!
Feel a bit trapped into a corner as I really DON'T want to use meds because of the Shrimps, Otos and possibly even the Tetras. I guess my q's are:-

Can I use a certain amount of salt with plants and Otosks in advace?
What temp can my Otos and tetras cope with?
If meds are best which ones are kindest and will they damage my filter
Should I quarantine the fish and treat/keep them in a spare tank for a week
while I let the disease naturally die out?

A bit of a barage but this info is genuinely hard to properly pin down. Thanks in advance.....

I always remove infected shrimp and treat with salt and put under a hot light bulbs in some sort of small container or something to treat rather than a whole tank treating.

20g platy, , 2 x 10g shrimp, 3 x 20g shrimp, 7.5g shrimp and 1 great dane/mastiff puppy.
