Looking For A Step-By-Step Guide For Carpet Moss

I'm looking for a Step-By-Step Guide for the easiest way to Carpet Moss a tank.

Preferable I'd like to try a "dry moss start" but I am having the hardest time finding a guide with specifics.

Thank you.

just paint on rocks on your substrate.
the thread also has a link to a guy who did it in his aquarium and he also has a very similar step by step process.

Not seen anything on this board discussing starting a moss carpet.

The only moss carpet method that I know if is is sandwiching it between mesh or tying it to slate.

Using the dry start method you can chop mince up what ever moss you choose like Flame moss, Xmas moss what ever you choose. Toss it on the substrate mist with water daily for about 4-6 weeks and then flood your tank you should be well in your way to a Moss carpet.

Thank you for everyone's input. My tank is coming along nicely.

I am making arrangements to start a moss area in my tank using a good starting moss, Java Moss. I think I will do a dry start some other time.
