Fluval roma 125 conversion to planted what lighting is needed?

i have a fluval roma 125 but want to turn it into a planted aquarium with a full carpeted floor.

my questions are:

what lighting is needed i believe it came with T8 bulbs

what plants are good for carpeting the tank floor?

i have a co2 set up brought already?

any hint tips and help is greatly appreciated!

Check out this thread:

It has a chart that will help you figure out where you need to be.

Fully carpeting taller tanks (really anything over 18 inches IME) can be challenging. Some plants will work better than others. I would stay flexible. You might want to try a couple of carpet plants and see which one works best for you in your setup.
