San Francisco Bay Brand® Frozen White Mosquito Larvae Fish Food

Jw wondering what everyone's impression was about this brand of mosquito larvae. Looking to buy some for my juvie apistos.

They are great in terms of fish food. I use them regularly, along with frozen bloodworms, and mixed freshwater cubes, and the fish like them and appear healthy.

This is one of the kinds of food that fish will eat in their natural habitats as well. You know, compared to fishmeal or chicken or preservatives or PCB or whatever is part of some flakes and crisps.

As a kid I caught these "glassworms" and fed them to my fish. Turned into a great spectacle each time, as they drift quietly through the water, and start some sort of rolling jumping getaway motion (not unlike shrimp) whenever a fish gets near. Which first spooks the fish, but also draws their attention. Them being frozen takes away part of the fun.

Really, a great brand. And you couldn't get better than mosquito larva for your young fish.
