stocking my 10 gallon planted

i have an established 10 gallon aquarium with tons of java moss some anubis and an amazon sword. right now i have 10 tiger barbs in there that ended up being too mean for my main tank. since i think the 10 gallon is too small for them what would be a good stock for my 10 gallon. i would really like to do a single species tank with an interesting fish but can't find anything that could stay in a tank that small. also im thinking about making it a shrimp tank. any suggestions?

Red cherry shrimp with some oto's. Just get a sponge to cover the filter intake, I use the one for the fluval edge and your golden.
