Which LFS to visit near Stoughton, Ma.?

I'm traveling to the Stoughton area Saturday and will have the chance to check out one of three shops. Just a look-see, maybe get a snail or plants. So, which would you choose to visit-- the one in Framingham, Millis or Bellingham?

TIA

Petsmart was what I was referring to. I wasn't sure if it is O.K. to use names of shops in the postings. No that you've asked that question, I'm thinking that because it's a chain it wouldn't be considered to be a lfs?

Uncle Ned's for sure. I live in Nashua, and I still go there on occasion.

I guess I agree with that. I try to spend my money in locally owned places rather than the big boxes.

So, I've tried stuffing the Elite mini with a green nylon scrubby-- cut to fit pieces. Still an amazing flow that really upsets the betta. I'm really surprised that with the dial all the way down, that much water still gets through!

I can't find a U.S. source for the Boyu so if I can't find some dense enough material to stuff the Elite with, I think I'll get the Azoo Mignon. It has great reviews, including some on TPT forums years ago.

Going shopping tomorrow at a local hardware store. I don't have easy access to a lfs. Maybe a lawnmower carb filter will do the trick.

Ned's for weirder stuff, Skipton's for general fish and a smoke-free atmosphere. They're rebuilding after changing owners; there was apparently some sort of financial mess that needs sorting out, which is why the stock list is bad. Plus, if you get a smaller Malawi cichlid, there's an excellent chance it's a reject (read: subdominant male getting picked on) from my tanks.

I definitely prefer Uncle Ned's over Tropical Isle.

I think I have stopped in that PetSmart just to see what was in there. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it felt sad and dirty. Really poorly maintained.

So I went to Uncle Ned's. Saw a lot of fish I had never seen before. I just missed a great deal on a Penn Plax tank. Someone buying a kit for $25 for what I think was a 3g(?) I think it was a close-out since I couldn't find any other's. They were pretty busy and my wife was waiting in the car, so I didn't get to ask many questions. Maybe next time. It was worth going out of our way for.
