Will this fixture work?

What's up, so my co-worker today heard me and my friend about fish tanks, and out of no where she says "do you guy want a free tank?" I'm like helllll yes! so she ended giving me her address and I went up there and picked it up the same night... It's a 55g w/ stand + canopy and everything you need for the thing to run.. With it I got this fixture, JBJ is the tag on it.. It looks a bit funky.

I've never had any experiences with these fixtures, I'm used to having one long bulb, no clue what these are even called.

question, Is this fixture good enough to run a high tech tank? Will it put out enough WPG? thanks.. any info would be great. It would most likely be on a 90-120g tank

not to be too curt... but there are better areas to post questions on light, and areas where the research has already been done, it just requires a little reading

It's a power compact fixture, it's perfect for a planted tank, but I would drop any bulbs above 10000k and switch them out for some 6700k bulbs, you want to use bulbs in the 6500k to 10000k spectrum for plants. It'll work fine for a hi-tech setup, watt's per gallon rule is pretty much obsolete anymore, now we go by PAR of the lighting.

Here a link about the fixture

I would love to have similar lighting on my 55 gallon hi-tech tank lol.

I'm mad. I want that. Life isn't fair enough.
