What is this white/gray dust on everything?

So my dad accidentally crashed my dwarf cray tank (guessing it was the super overload of dechlor). Now even after doing a 50% wc yday and a 90% wc today I have this whitish dust on everything. Never seen it before. Maybe a bacterial bloom? Like a new tank would have?

looks like a very fine algie but not one if seen in a fish tank could be an invader from a pond or other standing water have you added anything different recently?

Could you post more pictures of the tank, so we can get a better look, a full tank shot may help us.

I had something like that happen a while back in a 5.5 gallon dwarf cray tank. As best I could figure a mineral had precipitated out of the water. I'm not sure on this, but I did lose my crays after it. Just be sure to keep an eye on everything.

The only new thing added was wayy way to much dechlorinator. He used a gallon within a month, and its only 5 gallons. When I first came home it was cloudy and the two last crays were dead. Other than that nothing.

I'll get a FTS later on.

Did a 100% wc, rinsed off the plants and moved them. Filled and this is where I'm at still.

Did just pick up a used 2213 for $30 I thought about putting on it but i think that's wayyy too much overkill lol.

Doesnt look like dust if its forming on the underside of things in the aquarium. Some kind of aggressive biofilm? It might be time to scrub out the filter and gravel.

I think it was some sort of biofilm or bacterial bloom. It's much better now. Also double dosed some excel too
