New Tank Fungus

My gf setup a new 20g and has fungus all over it. I'm sure it came from the driftwood. I have been reading that it will cycle out in about a month. I was wondering if there is anything else I could do. Melafix and Pimafix aren't having any effect.

It seems to be normal with new driftwood, you can siphon it out to an extent, best to let it run its course

Hmm yeah I was wondering if it would be best to leave it alone instead of fighting it, thanks! Guess we'll have to practice our patients! Tis the way of the hobby.

Are there fish in the tank? If not, give it a good dose of Excell and see what happens.

No fish or anything living. I will have to try that tonight. Have you tried it before?

New Tank Fungus

Hello k...

I used "Ramshorn" snails. The driftwood was cleaned in a few days.
