2-D and digital art (aquarist style)

Inspired by Gnomecatcher's Oil paintings I decided to start posting my Aquatic arts.

So hopefully you can see the ^^ type eye on this fish and the squiggly gills. The circles going above it's mouth are bubbles and the jagged shapes below are crumbs. and the line at the front is his mouth(the place the crumbs come out of...go figure). I was thinking of using this as a logo for when I eventually start up my own Aquatic Buisness addiction. Also tell me if you think I should touch it up. I'm thinking of scanning it and doing a Live trace(like the Angry Onion that I use as my profile picture).

This space is going to be saved for my mandarin drawing(once my mom finds out where she put it ;_. I think it's the best I've ever done.

I guess this would qualify too. This is my microscopic "virus" that I created in Blender. (used in my signature) I guess it could be a type of nuisance algae :P

Hope you enjoyed! and tell me If you want to see more (Art class is done so otherwise I'd probably never make anything :/)

LOVE the blender art!!! Nice to have another artist aboard. I never was able to draw good fish. Now, aquatic reptiles and the like, that's a different story.

thanks I'm currently making a sort of "lagoon" landscape but I'm having a hard time texturing the rocks and the water seperately :/

Oh, landscapes are a pain. At least for me. Never was able to draw a background.

Fisheries: you should get a hold of Photoshop or Illustrator. I think you will have fun with it.
