Co2 ?

My co2 comes on at 7:30am. Lights on at 10am. By noon some of my plants are starting to pearl. By 5pm I have bubbles everywhere...7up anyone!!!!! Co2 turns off at 6:30pm, lights at 8pm.

I hate bubbles!!!! Should I maybe turn off co2 at say 3pm so I dont have that many bubbles by lights out? Or is it something I will have to learn to deal with...

Currently being diffused by a chopstick and a mini powerhead/reactor. I plan on setting up my rex reactor this weekend. This I hope will eliminate the co2 bubbles all together. Then I will only have to deal with the pearling bubbles..

My reactor is 27-28 inches tall and will be powered by an Eheim 2217. Will this be good enough. I do not want to see co2 bubbles enter the tank.

Thoughts!!

I think I would wait and see if you still have an issue after the reactor is up and running. Don't put the cart before the horse, lol.

That reactor might be a little tall for a 2217. It might kill your flow.

That will be ok, because it will be the second filter in the tank.

The cerges reactor is a lot easier to build. I've switched to this from rg reactor in hopes of better flow rate.
