help with programing coralife power centre

i have a power bar that has day and night programmable plugs that i got with my new (used) tank. i asked my friend if he remembered how to program it and he doesn't. haha!

anyone know how to program it? i have searched online but apparently i am not skilled at googling because i can't seem to find instructions. i actually went to the coralife site and found the power bar but they didn't have instructions on there that i could find.

i have this day night timer http://coralifeproducts.com/product/power-management/

please help!

Don't own it, but found on Dr Foster & Smith's website how to program it.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...m?pcatid=11379

Click on "More Info" under the image and it tells you set-up instructions... PMing you the instructions as well

Yeah, I bought one for my niece as a powerstrip + timer. It's not the most intuitive thing in the world to program.

Just remember that either 'day' is on or 'night' is on. They both can't be on at the same time.

thanks! i think i got it all worked out now.

i only have one thing right now that needs the timer, and that doesn't really need a timer. i just like to have my light on the timer so it can come on while i am at work, so it is on for a long enough amount of time. maybe eventually i will need something that will need to be on when my light is off but right now i can't think of what it would be.

i did some more work on the tank last night but i really need more plants. i am going into town on saturday so i am hoping to get more then. i have my fingers crossed that they will have some nice plants in!

ok... so, the light came on like it was supposed to but then turned off after only about 25 minutes even though the little switches were all pointed in for a few hours yet.

i will try it again in a bit.
