which do you like better?

which aquarium magazine do you like better? aquarium fish international (AFI)
or tropical fish hobbiest (tfh). I prefer tfh just because they usually have longer articles and have more on planted tanks.

I have a hard time picking them. I used to like FAMA lots but they don't run anymore.

I'm not that crazy about either one. What I do is pick up a copy, once and awhile, from my LFS, if I see something interesting in them. I don't think it's worth subscribing.

I agree FAMA was a good publication.

+1 for FAMA. I used to subscribe to both FAMA and TFH. I have not read much of
AFI.

AFI is kinda neat, and I like it (I love the pictures and seeing what species are being bred...), but it is kinda slender compared to TFH for sure. Can you get PFK in America though? :/

I like reading TFH when I'm at work and can pick it off the shelf. I wouldn't subscribe though since the plant section is only a couple pages.

TFH is great especially if you get the online version too.

I find them mostly to be advertisments you pay for, but they both have worthwhile articals sometimes.

A good one that just began publishing in English (I think they are on their second English issue) is the German magazine Amazonas it's got really great in depth articles with nice photography.
