Temperature Sensitivity

I recently bought a slim heater for my Fluva Ebi. I believe its a 15W. It warms the water to +4 of the water's room temperature.

At this point my tank is at 80 Fahrenheit. Am I pushing the limits of my plants? I have Pennywort and Glasso currently they both are suggested up to 79 degrees. Do you think its a big deal? Its a basement so temps stay pretty constant.

Thanks.

I have some plants suggested for 80 and I have my tank around 82 and I see constant growth. As long as you are going extreme with it you should be fine.

I would just keep an eye out to see if you start to see your plants melting away.

80's usually fine for most plants.

76, on the other hand, is a fine temperature too!

what temp does your tank sit at without the heater? Like Wasserpest said, nothing wrong with 76* in most cases. I'd be happy if I didn't need to run a heater, less cost.
