Question Hooking up kitchen faucet RO to aquarium

I am thinking about hooking up my already existing kitchen faucet RO to aquarium. It's your typical RO with a reservoir tank. I was thinking of adding a T split coming from the reservoir tank to the faucet above and another hose to the aquarium. Then at the aquarium I have a ball valve to turn it on and off.

Parts list:
Watts 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. Plastic Barb Tee

Watts 1/4 in. x 25 ft. Polyethylene Tubing

Watts 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. Plastic Straight Valve

Any advice or thoughts? I am not a plumber and have 0 experience at this so any advice would be appreciated!

My concern is forgetting that the valve is open and over filling the tank. If you have room to hide the plumbing, you have room to hide one more line and a proper RO shut off valve. Missing one over fill should be worth the extra cost.
