Malaysian Trumpet Snails

I have one large MTS which I thought would multiply by now but hasn't, I know they are beneficial for a planted tank and would love to have a bunch of them. How can I get the one i have to reproduce? Or does anyone out there have an excess of them that wouldn't mind getting rid of a few? Thanks.

Overfeeding your fish can and will make them multiply. I had 2 that never had any babies until I put one in a larger tank and overfed the fish some. Now I have plenty. In the tank that they were originally in there were 20-some guppies that ate all of the food and kept them from multiplying. They'll multiply eventually and you may already have some, you might just can't see them because they're small and hide in the substrate.
